Detailed Introduction
1. Ellipsoidal Heads
Material: Carbon steel, stainless steel, and various other steel grades; Forming Method: Cold pressing (room-temperature spinning, suitable for large diameters with thin walls—diameters up to 8000mm, thickness up to 32mm); Hot pressing (heated stamping, suitable for thick walls—diameters ≤ 5000mm, thickness up to 200mm); Segmented forming allows for diameters up to 26000mm; Equipment: Spinning machines, hydraulic presses; Forming Style: Integral (one-piece) or segmented assembly via welding; Straight Flange: As required/per standard; Inspection: LR, TUV, etc., as required/per standard; Applications: Non-fired pressure vessels, petrochemical equipment, etc.
2. Hemispherical Heads
Material: Same as Ellipsoidal Heads; Forming Method: Hot pressing (suitable for thick walls); Specifications: Diameters ≤ 5000mm, thickness up to 200mm; Equipment: Hydraulic presses; Forming Style: Integral or segmented assembly via welding; Straight Flange: As required/per standard; Standards: ASME; Inspection: Same as Ellipsoidal Heads; Applications: Same as Ellipsoidal Heads.
3. Flat Heads (Including Flat Heads with Perforations, Tube Sheets, and Flanged Types)
Material: Same as Ellipsoidal Heads; Forming Method: Hot Pressing; Specifications: Diameter ≤ 4000 mm, Thickness ≤ 260 mm; Equipment: Hydraulic Press; Forming Mode: Integral (One-piece) or Segmented Assembly and Welding; Straight Flange: As per requirements/standards; Standards (ASME + Chinese Standards), Inspection, and Applications: Same as Ellipsoidal Heads.
4. Torispherical Heads (Dished Heads)
Material: Same as Ellipsoidal Heads; Forming Method: Cold pressing (diameters up to 8000mm, thickness up to 32mm); Hot pressing (diameters ≤ 5000mm, thickness up to 200mm); Segmented forming allows for diameters up to 26000mm; Equipment: Spinning machines, hydraulic presses; Forming Style, Straight Flange, Standards (ASME + Chinese Standards), Inspection, and Applications: All same as Ellipsoidal Heads.
5. Cones (Transition Sections, Conical Heads)
Material: Same as Ellipsoidal Heads; Forming Method: Cold working (plate rolling followed by end-stamping); Hot pressing (segmented pressing and assembly for large diameters and thick plates); Equipment: Plate rolling machines, hydraulic presses; Forming Style: Integral or segmented assembly via welding; Straight Flange: As required/per standard; Standards (ASME + Chinese Standards), Inspection, and Applications: All same as Ellipsoidal Heads.
6. Spherical Heads (Spherical Heads without Flanges)
Material: Same as Ellipsoidal Heads; Forming Method: Hot Pressing (Suitable for thick-walled applications); Specifications: Integral forming—Diameter ≤ 5000 mm, Thickness up to 260 mm; Segmented forming—Diameter up to 26,000 mm, Thickness up to 260 mm; Equipment: Hydraulic Press; Forming Mode: Integral or Segmented Assembly and Welding; Straight Flange: As per requirements/standards; Standards (ASME + Chinese Standards), Inspection, and Applications: Same as Ellipsoidal Heads; Remarks: Primarily used as intermediate heads or end caps for pressure vessels.
